Naa, how can we write a tribute to you? How we prayed and hoped that this unpleasant news was just a nightmare! Where do we start and where do we end? The bond we shared expanded 30 years of our lives. Apart from the fact that we were very good neighbours, we were distant cousins as well. Awwwwww.. too many pleasant memories to count.
As kids, we sometimes joined you( Naa and KK)to school in Su)korlina's car. Those were our Garrison school days.
We were rest assured of some toffees and chewing from Su)korlina after your Burkina-Faso trips. During one of those visits, Su)korlina saw how I was struggling to write the number '3 'on my slate'. My ' 3' had such a small head and a big bum. That challenge was overcome thanks to mum.
And ooooh our endless chit-chats behind ' the great wall'. Chatting the night away in front of your house on that wooden bench, attending the first ever Osu Osu Oxford street carnival, our J.Y and Y P.G days, the list goes on.
The love we had for you was so deep that we interrogated Frank in our living room about his intentions dating you. Yes, we actually had the audacity to do that.
Though in adulthood we 'separated' through travels, school and marriage, the love we shared never waned because whenever we had the opportunity to meet again, we just re-lived those happy moments.
Naa...we'll miss your smile, laughter, kind heart and warmth. You're simply irreplaceable. The lovely memories we shared is our keepsake. Forever in our hearts, Naa. W) jogbann
