Mr. Christian David Addoquaye Pappoe was biologically my uncle. But when I met him in London he became my father and mentor figure. He talk to me about the life in London at a very early time of my arrival in London. And that talk helped me very well indeed. I would very much like to quote what he said to me. He said "Within London you can find all variety of life, what you know already and what may be knew to you. However they are all attractive, depending on what you want to see". He said "the main is hard work and being positive" He also said this, which I shall never forget. he said it in our mother tongue, which is the Ga language: " Maa ni wor yor mii ker oyele ruff abaaye bo ruff". Thanks be to God. Many are called but few are chosen.
My uncle and my Dad, fare thee well. You deserve to rest in peace, so shall the lord grant you. Amen.
