I remember Dr Awuni when I joined the veterinary service in the 2000s. He was ever supportive of the young ones trying to find our feet in the profession. He once told me, William, the director of vet services wants you here and I am okay with that so please come and join us in the laboratory. I ddint join AVL but he encouraged me and made me feel welcome. We continued the usual welcoming pleasantreis anytime I visited VSD headoffice. His sudden demise and that of the wife remain a huge shock to all of us. Dr and wife, rest in perfect peace.
