The eulogies, memories, prayers and hymns are sincerely appreciated. The donations are not necessary because my Dad worked hard and saved his money in assets. The Oforis blocked the sale of these so they are cash poor as a consequence. They poor decision making should not distract from the love we all have for my generous, hard marking and caring father

To our Dad. Not perfect but ours nonetheless.
It would take a whole book to record Cedric’s life, he lived many lives in one. His energy, passion and drive led him to adventure after adventure.
May you rest in peace Dad. We love you and will miss you very much.

He always strove to be the best he could be: running a mile in close to 4 minutes; playing golf to professional level; taking on highly complex construction work including building palaces, hydroelectric dams, and railways across Europe and Africa.

He was a self-educated man who absorbed information like a sponge. He was knowledgeable in every subject from geology, physics and climate change, through world politics and global history.

He was his own boss, respecting only those that deserved it, questioning and testing decisions and standing up for those suffering injustice around him. He challenged his managers when he found men being forced to breathe dust on construction sites; made sure local people were protected and properly reimbursed when pipelines and railways were laid.

Over his life he was helped so many of us when we needed support; he didn’t use his money for his own comfort with expensive holidays, luxury cars; instead he helped his family with housing, education and business opportunities. Always compassionate and keen to stop others falling into the financial challenges of the poverty he had experienced as a child.

It is indeed with heavy heart and sorrow that I reflect memorable moments had with the late father Cedric Bruce Edwards. My first interaction with him was phone and I was invited at their home 3 times, he and his wife are such a friendly, loving, caring and hospitable family. They hosted my 2 daughters; Arthurline, Geeyonnoh and grand daughter Fatmeh when were in Ghana and we became family. My granddaughter Fatmeh once said when the Edwards Family and I including my nephew who accompanied me "Grandpa you know what I have 3 Grand fathers, you, my paternal grandfather and grandpa Cedric Bruce Edwards and it was a memorable lunch together as family. He's known in my family for his caring and loving nature. May his soul progress until it attains the present of God 🙏
