MEMORIES & CONDOLENCES

Reverend as i usually call you, you became a father to me and my wife ,my sibling, my friend and a grandfather to our children after our marriage counselling session with you - which you did freely for us. I remember clearly what you said when i asked how much your service will cost; you answer was "nothing, my interest is to make sure and see you have a successful marriage" and no push from us to pay for the quality service you rendered succeeded. You have forgotten our birthdates and made time to reach out whenever you can.You shared your life experiences with us to guide us,you coached and reminded us of God always.Your conversations are always backed by scriptures from the Bible as you encourage us.Sad we were when our surprise visit to you on 30th Jan turned a sad surprise on us- your demise. In times like this we ask God questions to which we cannot get answers, but we know and believe that God calls when he deems fit so who are we to blame Him.Our consolation is that you are resting in the bossom of God.You have lived, achieved and conquered in God, so until on the day of ressurection when we all meet again, we say fare thee well Reverend Augustt. Hedenyuie. Mawu na xor wo de efe fafa me(Ewe). Amen. You will forever remain in our hearts.Rest in Perfect Peace.

The last 6yrs of knowing you has been worthwhile. Touched by your humility and depth of your knowledge of the word of God. You have been my father and I mourn you fondly. I know the many questions we could not answer at out bible studies sessions, you have the chance to ask Jesus. Rest in perfect peace my dear friend and father.
