You were such a lovely person, kind to all-who were not even your ‘buddies’ like me.
May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace until we meet again .

Jerry... I still can’t come to terms with the news ooo. Death has dealt us a great blow. Didn’t think we would be parted this soon. You were always a good big brother. I will always remember years of your kindness and goodness to us. You chasing me up the Spintex road shouting.. Juuuliee... when you finally caught up with me... laughing because you knew I had been scared. Yes, You were always full of laughter and one joke or the other. Our bond survived inspite of the odds.
Rest In Peace Jerry Booze... I miss you.
It is well

Jerry's death came as a shock to me and my wife, Naomi. We share a common wall at Community 18. Even though Jerry had not moved in formally we were in constant touch because he and my wife had known each other since their days at Aquinas Secondary School. Jerry was such a helpful neighbour and was ready to assist in whatever way he could. A day before his untimely death I had just spoken to him about a plumbing problem in my house and my inability to reach a plumber commonly known to us. He assured me, "General, just leave everything to me. Wherever he is hiding I will fish him out and let him report to you." Those were the final words we exchanged as neighbours only to hear, to my utter shock and bewilderment, his sudden and untimely death. May his gentle and generous soul rest in peace and rise again in glory at the second coming of Jesus Christ our Saviour. May the Good Lord look kindly upon the bereaved family he leaves behind.
