Big sis

We met at the inauguration of the Ghanaian Students Union UK and since then you always inspired me.
Though you were older than me, you never called me by my name, you preferred ‘Hajia’.
You had so many plans in connection with supporting people with mental health and living with families with mental health issues.
You just stirred so much motivation for this line of work that I truly looked forward working along you. This was not meant to be.
Wishing you ‘happy birthday’ in absentia was one of my rarest experience, but you were a rare human kind. Very compassionate, see the hidden gems in people.
Your departure is numbing. The angels’ gain and our loss.
Sleep well big sis, go well. 💔🌹

Adisah Azumah

The brightest , sharpest wittiest lady I ever met. On her day absolutely the life and soul of any situation. A wonderful communicator. Generous and giving without reservation. Always driven by principle and ethics, principles most could not live up to. I salute you sister, friend, and dear heart. Rest in Peace. You were one of a kind and you leave a great void. xxx

Dede rest in peace in knowing that you are much loved here on earth and above too. Simply because of your selfless efforts to make a difference for the voiceless in our society whether in Ghana the most suppressed re domestic violence and post natal depressed mothers and in the the U. K. RlP.

Mrs Mercy Adede Bolus(Ayiku- Nartey).

Dede was a thoughtful person, very observant o her surroundings and the people about her. But once engaged she could be very funny and completely outspoken. She didn’t suffer fools gladly. But most of all she was very kind and generous. She was a mentor and leader. She took up causes in her community and fought long and hard against any form of injustice. She was sooo looking forward to her 60th birthday, a celebration for which she had planned meticulously. She was like an excited child. It is such a tragedy that it was not to be. We shall miss you dearly, Dede. RIP
