“Grandma oyoyo!! Grandma oyoyo!!”Those words echo in my head every time I think about you. That would be the high pitched screaming of the welcome song coming from me, Nana Akua, Nana Yaa, Kwakye, Papa Kwesi and Princess Marie-Louise every single time your car pulled up to the front gate of aunty Kiki’s home. You and grandpa would then be attacked with joyous laughter and uncontainable excitement by us before you could even get the chance to get out of your car. Your ever gentle voice and warm hugs will be missed. Grandma, thank you for taking me in as one of your own grand babies. You were always like Rosina, you are the oldest, take charge and take care of your siblings. I remember our long weekends with you at Ayeduase where you will always gather us and tell us stories, jokes and sing to us. Your meals were ever so delicious! You were always so interested in my general well-being and always encouraged me to be the best especially academically. Oh Grandma you were really a caring woman. I thank God for giving me a chance to know such a legend like you. I love you and I miss you.

Dear Ruth, David, Michael and Rachel
My prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. We must however thank God for the life of our dear Auntie Marie. She was a sweet spirited ‘soul’ , softly spoken, affable very kind and always wore a smile . Indeed, she will be sorely missed but let us take consolation in the fact that she is resting peacefully in the arms of the Lord.
