My heart is heavy with the passing of my grandma. As the only grandparent I ever knew, she left an indelible mark on my life. I will always cherish the memories we shared and the joy she brought me. Her love, kindness, and care will remain with me always.

Dear Family,

I was very saddened that I couldn’t be present for Mama’s funeral yesterday. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Mama Leone Myrene De Graft welcomed me into her home with so much love whenever I came to Ghana. She treated me like her own son and cared for our children as very special guests. Her servant heart, generosity, and loving spirit will always remain in my memory.

I am deeply grateful for the kindness she showed me and my family.

May the Lord grant her eternal rest and comfort the entire family.
