MEMORIES & CONDOLENCES

Our paths crossed in Antoa in 1971/72 as foundational staff of the newly established Adonten Akoten Secondary School where I taught French and Mrs Wiberforce was the girls’ House Mistress. She took great interest in molding the character of the young girls with discipline and sincere love. She often said her wish was for the girls to be disciplined, hardworking and be good human beings in the future. Thank you for modelling the way for the girls. Your work is done and you deserve eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord, your maker. Nante yie, Mrs Wilberforce.

You lived a long life.
You lived a full life.
Rest in the arms of the Lord you loved so much, you loved so well.
Life here was was transient
Rest in your true home!

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil Isaiah 57:1.

We thank God for your long life, Aunty Dora, for your example and impact. We will never forget you. Rest now from all your labours in Jesus' arms.
