MEMORIES & CONDOLENCES

Dear Dorothy, Sorry to learn of your bereavement. Mum lived a very rich life and we thank God for that. Her memory will be reflected in those she taught, mentored, laughed with and treated with so much kindness. May the Lord keep her in His bosom as you, Ebow and the family are comforted and strengthened. Nyma nfa ni kra nsie.

To a great mother
The inevitable has happened, after 101 years a great mother, loving mother to Dee Willie and her siblings and their families has thrown in the towel.
Many strong and resourceful Ghanaian women have learnt at your feet, and the discipline you administered with so much love and compassion has impacted many more.
You conducted my entry interview into Mmofraturo in 1968 and was my headmistress in the first term of 1969, in Form One. You had us learn Psalm 1 and in later years as I spent time in Dee Willie’s home, I saw you live out verse 2: “But his (her) delight is in the Law of the Lord and in His Law, he (she) meditates day and night”.
Grandma, Auntie, Mrs Wilberforce, the Lord who you faithfully served bids you akwaaba, while we here relinquish our hold.
Dorothy(our Dee Willie), Paa Sammy , PK, Bertha and Akos and the grand children , the entire family are walking in the comfort of the Lord who you taught them to love follow.
So rest, ay3 w’adwuma pa no awie. Da yie! H3n Nyame nfa wo nsie!
