Mr. Aboagye was a father to me. I remember a lot of advice and experiences he shared with me on our numerous cycling and squash sessions in the Netherlands.
The laughs we shared whenever I paid a visit to their house in Accra in the past few years in Accra.
"Odum pon kesé atutu". May he rest in peace.

Dearest Kate and family.... Soo sad to hear of his sudden passing. Best of memories of a for ever smiling Fred.... One day, me at the Nic Embassy, hè passed with his bike at one hand, walming. His face all swollen... He had gallen and i dont think hé was happy that i catched him. I believe that was his last attempt of mounting bike in the city, it was at Statenlaan. Rest in peace dear Alex... I am sure you Will be missed

Uncle, my dearest uncle, I have struggled to find the words as I am still in shock. Indeed you have gone to Glory but too soon! You will be dearly missed by all of us you left behind.
Dad I know, is really struggling but knows that you have gone to be with your maker.

I remember ALWAYS knowing that you were on the other end of the phone, no matter where in the world we all were by the 'HMM' grunts that both you and dad both would exchange with each other with and it would make me smile because you both went back to you boyish young ways, wiht explosions of laughter and hrs of talk!

I'll miss, your advice, your smile and wit, you were the true definition of a God fearing man who lived though the Lord. Thank you for being such an influence in my life, more than you know!

You were the reason we got to know our cousins (David, Rob and Kwaks AKA Moomoo). You and dad wanted us all to have the same sort of memories together growing up as you both had together and indeed we do! Thank you.

To Auntie Kate and my cousins, may the Lord comfort you all. Thinking and praying for you, he's with you always.Love you.

We love and miss you uncle. Rest in Perfect Peace.

Alex is one of the best bosses I ever had. No he is the best. Good sense of humor. An excellent mentor- he always made me write his speeches, represent him and gave me travel opportunities. He was very keen on ensuring I grow. He was my referee and I thought about him this year thinking I need to update him on how I am. He was always ready to give advice.
I can’t believe he is gone. He was so kind. So funny. So carefree.
I hope he got to spend enough time with his wife in Netherlands and his boys he always talked about.
So full of wisdom. We shall miss you so much. Africa will miss you.
